This site provides free access to primary source materials for Australia such as legislation, case law and selected secondary materials.                        


This site offers free access to primary British and Irish legal information and allows for cross-jurisdictional searching of case law and legislation for England, Scotland and Ireland.  Cases include imbedded links to cases and legislation both within the United Kingdom and internationally, plus the site provides links to other partners such as WORLDLII, CANLII and AUSTLII among others.                                                                        


Provides access to case law and legislation from courts in the federal jurisdiciton, provinces and territories. All decisions are now provided in both html and pdf format and all documents are clearly identified using neutral citations.  

House of Lords Judgments Archive

This page lists HTML versions of all House of Lords judgments delivered from 14 November 1996 to 30 July 2009. Print versions of judgments since 2005 are available in PDF format from the top right hand side of individual judgment pages.


WorldLII provides a single search facility for databases located on the following Legal Information Institutes: AustLII; BAILII; CanLII; HKLII; LII (Cornell); and PacLII. WorldLII also includes as part of this searchable collection its own databases not found on other LIIs. These include databases of decisions of international Courts and Tribunals, databases from a number of Asian countries, and databases from South Africa (provided by Wits Law School). The site includes over 270 databases from 48 jurisdictions in 20 countries are included in the initial release of WorldLII. Databases of case-law, legislation, treaties, law reform reports, law journals, and other materials are included.

Ontario Courts

Ontario Courts                                

This site provides useful information about the Ontario Courts system including the Court of Appeal, Superior Court of Justice, and Ontario Court of Justice. Information such as Ontario Court Addresses, Notices and Rule Changes, or Ontario Statutes and Regulations are listed. Available on the site are recently released judgments and endorsements for the Ontario Court of Appeal, as well as full-text decisions back to 1998. Also useful are the links to the various rules, such as the Family Court Rules and the forms are downloadable .pdf files. The site now has a link to materials relating to the Ontario Court of Justice.

Ontario Court Forms 

This site provides access to all forms under the Ontario Rules of Civil Procedure. Each form is now available on this public website as a separate document in PDF and/or Microsoft Word. Some forms can be completed using the Forms Assistant program while others must be printed and filed in hard copy. The format of these forms is not in compliance with Rule 4 that governs the format of court documents. It is a party’s responsibility to ensure that any form they file complies with the Rules of Civil Procedure, e.g. Rule 4.01 (formatting).

An added identifier appears at the end of each form and comprises two elements: A form code, e.g., RCP-E 4A, and a version date, e.g. November 1, 2011The version date of a form will depend on the date it is either amended, replaced by a new form, or added.

Ontario Daily Court Lists

The Ministry of the Attorney General has created a new online service making it easier to find out where and when to go to court. This online version of the daily court lists allows court users to search for basic information about next-day court appearances, including the case number, the names of the parties involved and the time, location and reason for that appearance.  The website gives court users a faster, more convenient way to access daily court list information, which until now could only be obtained by calling or visiting the courthouse in person. The site will be updated around 4:30pm each day and will hold that information for 24 hours.

Supreme Court of Canada                

This site provides information about the Court and its library, judgments from 1983, and services and information for parties and counsel, as well as links to the Charter collection. The full-text judgments database is searchable by concept (key words), or with the help of a field search template

Federal Court of Canada and Decisions        

This site provides information on Federal Court rules, reports and decisions. 

Federal Court of Appeal Decisions                                                            

The Federal Court of Appeal has jurisdiction to hear appeals from judgments of the Federal Court and the Tax Court of Canada. The court also has jurisdiction to hear judicial review applications with respect to sixteen (16) federal boards and tribunals listed under section 28 of the Federal Courts Act. It also hears appeals pursuant to other federal legislation.

Tax Court of Canada                                          

The Tax Court of Canada is a superior court where individuals and companies may litigate with the Government of Canada. The bulk of the appeals to the Court relate to income tax, goods and services tax, and employment insurance. The Court also hears references from the Canada Revenue Agency. Judgments on the site are available from 1996.
